RV's require regular maintenance of the various components not related to the running gear and power train. Many times the recommended lubricant or protective product can be applied by the RVer to keep the components properly functioning for many years. Not only does this save money, it reduces the chances of component failure and costly parts replacement.

In the area below is a selection of various maintenance lubricants and chemicals. We at RV Parts Plus want you to know how to maintain the typical components on your RV. We invite you to any of the informative Seminars we present at many RV Rallies and gatherings. In addition we have posted our Seminar Notes which provide you with some hints about what lubricant to use and where to use it. Feel free to print out the file and refer to it when maintaining your RV.

Corrosion Block®

[object HTMLInputElement]

Corrosion Block® provides protection at the surface of the metal so that corrosion cannot occur. Anytime two dissimilar metals are in contact with one another the potential for corrosion increases and in a humid environment this corrosion can create electrical failures in as little as 12 months. Door locks which contain a number of different metals are renown for being difficult to operate after a period of time. Spraying Corrosion Block® on appropriate areas virtually eliminates corrosion. It will "wick" up mated connectors often eliminating the need to open and coat each half. A small quantity is all that is required to provide corrosion protection for up to 18-24 months (depending upon the environment).

The 12 oz. (354ml) aerosol spray tin contains a foam version of Corrosion Block® which is handy for coating larger areas such as Battery Posts and hold down hardware on larger RV Batteries. It is supplied with a small spray tube for smaller areas.

The 4 oz. (118ml) pump spray container holds a liquid form of Corrosion Block® that can be pumped out for a drop or two on a connector or continuously pumped to provide a liquid spray of an area.   This Product can only be shipped within Canada.
