Radio Controlled Clocks
If you have ever walked through your RV and noticed all the clocks that must be reset after powering up, then you will love our line of LaCrosse Technologies Radio Controlled Atomic Clocks. These clocks are always accurate since each midnite to 6:00am they seek and synchronize with the radio signal from ‘World Standard’ Atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. Most automatically adjust for daylight saving, all have wireless remote thermometers which can be placed to monitor outdoor, refrigerator, holding or water tank compartment temperatures. Some have a weather forecast function, some have MIN / MAX memories, some are alarm clocks and some even project the time and monitored temperature onto the ceiling or wall to make time checks at night, simple. There is even a version that is not radio controlled that gives indoor and wireless remote temperature reading for just a couple dollars more than the cost of the remote sensor cost. RV Surface Protection
The newest water based paints require the use of cleaners and waxes that will not damage them. We recommend Protect-All cleaners and waxes for all your exterior, roof and interior cleaning waxing and treatment needs. Power Management Systems
Modern RV’s contain all types of sensitive electronic equipment. From Plasma TV’s to DVD, Home Entertainment to modern convection Microwave ovens, electronics have invaded our Rigs. Most Campgrounds were designed and built long before the need for high quality and quantity of power. You must take action to protect your RV when you prepare to hook-up but even while connected you run the risk of low voltage, power surges and with changing weather conditions, sudden electrical storms that can wreak havoc with your RV’s electrical system. Our new line-up of Energy or Power Management systems are the solution. In our opinion Progressive Industries has the finest, highest quality EMS on the market. Their systems self test and diagnose the power when you plug in and once all has tested OK, the provide power to your coach. Each system has a monitor panel that scrolls through on the display, the voltage, amps, frequency, on each leg of the power input and any error messages. These systems are dynamic and will instantaneously re-act to power surges, or changes outside of the safe range, There are the popular “hard-wire” and “portable” versions. Jotto Desks
Many RVers all taking advantage of the low cost Global Positioning Systems (GPS) which when combined with appropriate mapping software can locate and provide direction all along your trip. The use of a laptop computer in an RV for multiple purposes has skyrocketed. To meet the requests for a safe, secure method of holding your laptop out of the glare of the outdoor light we are pleased to introduce the Jotto Desk lineup. Jotto is the largest supplier of quality mobile computing stands and equipment to the law enforcement and trucking industries. Some of their models are designed for the modern RV. We recommend either the Cable-Dock or Velcro computer mounting desktops so your co-pilot can manage the software and keep the driver on track. These stands are adjustable in height, have an articulated arm for extending the computer and with proper adjustment the computer can swing to face the driver or co-pilot. SMI STAY-IN-PLAY
SMI introduced its new STAY-IN-PLAY Vacuum Tow Braking System, last summer, and demand far outstripped supply. RV Parts Plus was the only dealer that was able to obtain supply last year. We now stock this model and what a wonderful addition it is to the SMI line-up. Once this unit is installed, you never have to remove a box to drive the towed car. Just flip a switch to tow and turn off the switch when you are done.
